Our Department is comprised of one Director, a
Facilities Planning Manager and Planner, several
Project Managers and associated Project Field
Coordinators, as well as Procurement and
Administrative personnel which support all functions
of the Department. |

The Facilities Planning Group is
responsible for the 5-Year Facilities Work
Program, the Educational Plant Survey and the Student
Accommodation Plan.
Additional responsibilities include the collection/allocation of
Educational Facility Impact Fees, the Brevard County Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facility
Planning and School Concurrency and
School Board Representatives to local government P &
Z Boards. |

The Data Management Group is
responsible for maintaining the Florida Inventory of
School Houses (FISH) data, Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) Data, and the
District's Facilities FTP site. |

|
The Project Management Group is
responsible for managing the budgeting, design and
construction of all large capital facilities
projects ranging from $1,000,000 to $80,000,000.
It also establishes, updates and enforces the Design
Standards for the type and quality of materials and
systems used to construct the District's facilities. |
